Title : CT Technologist
Location : Portland, OR
Duration : 13 Weeks
Shift : Day Shift, 4x10-Hour (06 : 00 – 16 : 00), Sunday required
Job Responsibilities & Requirements
Perform CT imaging procedures for inpatients and outpatients, ensuring accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.
Prepare and position patients appropriately for scans, maintaining comfort and safety throughout procedures.
Administer and monitor contrast media as required, following established safety protocols.
Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment (GE, Siemens, Philips, Toshiba) and utilize PACS for image storage and retrieval.
Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and isolation precaution standards.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure optimal imaging outcomes and workflow efficiency.
Required Qualifications :
Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience in an acute care or outpatient setting.
Active ARRT (R) certification and BLS required.
EPIC charting experience required.
Oregon state license (can be pending at time of submission).
Proficiency in performing scans of the head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and musculoskeletal system with and without contrast.
Experience in starting peripheral IVs and managing contrast preparation and administration.
Preferred Qualifications : \nPrevious experience in teaching or community hospital environments.\nFamiliarity with neonatal, pediatric, and geriatric patient populations.\nStrong multitasking and critical-thinking skills, with ability to work independently in a fast-paced imaging department.
