About The Position
We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Louisiana. This opportunity begins on Oct 20, 2025, and features an outpatient primary care schedule, Monday through Thursday from 9am to 4 : 30pm, and Friday from 9am to 12pm. The ideal candidate will serve as the sole provider in an outpatient setting and must have a current Collaborative Practice Agreement on file with the Louisiana Board.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care as the sole providerConduct patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plansManage acute and chronic health conditions for a diverse patient populationPrescribe medications and manage refills in accordance with state and federal guidelinesDocument all patient encounters and care plans accurately and timelyCollaborate as needed with ancillary staff to ensure high-quality patient careAdhere to all clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, and safety standardsAdditional Information
Must have a current Collaborative Practice Agreement (CPA) on file with the Louisiana BoardBoard certification in Family Medicine requiredOutpatient primary care experience as a sole provider is essentialBasic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification requiredIHS experience is a plusLouisiana state licensure requiredBenefits
