Warehouse Specialist Burnsville, MN (Contract to Hire)

What You'll Do

  • Handle order picking, stocking, packaging, and inventory control tasks.
  • Receive and unload shipments via conveyor belt, organizing stock for distribution.
  • Use RF scanners to track inventory and perform order selection with a pallet jack.
  • Lift and move items weighing 50+ pounds regularly.
  • Package, palletize, and label ordersincluding dangerous goods and international shipments.
  • Load / unload trucks, process stock transfers, and replenish warehouse / production areas.
  • Execute ERP transactions : goods movements, receipts, confirmations, and work orders.
  • Support cycle counts, returns processing, and cross-training of new team members.
  • Troubleshoot warehouse issues and escalate as needed.

What You Bring

  • Experience in inventory control, picking, packaging, and kitting.
  • Skilled in using RF scanners and pallet jacks.
  • Strong material handling and shipping / receiving experience.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds frequently and work in a physically active role.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in dangerous goods labeling, international shipping, and carrier paperwork.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems for inventory and order processing.
  • Experience training or mentoring warehouse staff.

    • Work Environment

  • Schedule : MondayFriday, 7 : 00 AM 3 : 30 PM (OT until 4 : 30 PM as needed)
  • One Saturday / month : 6 : 00 AM 2 : 30 PM
  • Large distribution / production facility with designated areas for receiving, shipping, and small orders.
  • Safety vests provided; must be worn during shifts.

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 / hr.
