Industrial Safety Manager
Responsibilities :
- Investigate industrial accidents, injuries, or occupational diseases to determine causes and preventive measures
- Maintain and apply knowledge of current policies, regulations, and industrial processes
- Conduct or coordinate worker training in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment
- Heavily involved in all work compensation related items
- Compile, analyze, and interpret statistical data related to occupational illnesses and accidents
- All other duties assigned by the Plant or Human Resource Manager
- Work in a fast pace environment
- Able to work at least 45+ hours a week
- Must be able to perform General HR managerial functions
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
High school DiplomaAssociates / Bachelor Degree in a related field preferred but not requiredMinimum of 2 years experience neededMust be able to work with several different computer systemsMust be a highly effective communicatorMust be able to travel as neededCan perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodationAs a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations.
