Set in the heart of elevated and unique locations, each Limelight hotel is carefully designed with distinctive design and purposeful functionality, created to evoke a sense of place and a point of view.

Current locations include across Colorado in Aspen, Snowmass, Denver, and Boulder (just opened fall 2025); Ketchum, Idaho; Mammoth, California (coming by the end of 2025); and Charleston, South Carolina (coming in 2028).

Job Description

Position Summary The Public Areas Attendant cleans and maintains public and employee areas. This position reports to the Housekeeping Manager.

Essential Job Functions / Key Job Responsibilities

  • Start the daily assignments according to the structure
  • Check meeting rooms and restaurant, clean as needed, clean the windows
  • Continue to clean the lobby bathrooms dust all pictures and wipe down the walls
  • Clean all areas of the lobby including furniture, walls, windows, frames, exit doors, art, lamps, wood molding
  • Replenish and organize the magazines
  • Report and / or replace all burnt light bulbs in the areas
  • Shampoo rooms as requested by the supervisors
  • Assist the department with guest special request, example, rollaway bed, baby crib, etc
  • Stock all products relative to position to their proper levels
  • Keep storages areas clean and organized, everything should be on the right place
  • Write and or report all maintenance requests and mechanical deficiencies
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience Requirements High School Diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of commercial use cleaning chemicals
  • Ability to frequent the lobby area and identify areas to touch up
  • Proficient knowledge of housekeeping and hotel policies, cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and use of cleaning chemicals
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards regarding working with chemicals
  • Awareness of hotel services and amenities to assist guests with inquiries
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations, including handling biohazard materials and hazardous cleaning agents
  • Ability to professionally and courteously interact with guests when needed
  • Clear understanding of instructions and ability to report maintenance or security concerns
  • Keeping cleaning supplies, carts, and storage areas well-stocked and orderly
  • Ability to stay focused and complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to work with fellow housekeeping and hotel staff to ensure seamless operations
  • Respecting guest privacy and confidentiality always
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, and work with chemical cleaning products that could contain allergens
  • Additional Information

    Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand or be on your feet, kneel and bend for extended periods of time
  • Regularly work in adverse conditions and required to use protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials as well as an office environment and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
  • Must be able to frequently lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)
