We are looking for a Senior Manager, Data Science to lead a team of Data Scientists. Role Requires to be onsite 4 days a week.

Responsibilities

Purpose of the Position : Responsibilities include the design, management and delivery of analytical insights and solutions through data analysis and data science. Primary activities include delivering technical, business strategic expertise and ensuring proper governance of data sources, models, attributes, and analytic platforms. Accountable for the data and insights strategy and its execution for the company. Providing thought leadership both internally and externally regarding the use and application of data and analytics for competitive advantage.

Perform analysis of multiple data sources using statistical analysis and computer science to solve business problems. Able to communicate analytical results generate improved business decisions and profitability. Uses data mining tools and programming languages to prepare data for analysis and business decision making. Delivers analytical and commercial solutions for internal and external customers. Combine business requirements and existing process and data knowledge to create analytical solutions.

Management Responsibilities

  • Achieves goals through the work of others (Note that in rare circumstances high level functional leaders may be functioning as individual contributors who coordinate work across function and are accountable for the results of a function within a BU)
  • Management responsibilities include performance appraisals, pay reviews, training, and development.
  • Typically managers have hire / fire authority; lower-level managers may recommend.
  • Provides leadership to professional staff focused on a narrow range of work within a function (i.e., a job family)
  • Is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related teams.
  • Identifies and addresses complex technical, operational and / or organization challenges.
  • Makes decisions guided by resource availability and functional objectives Develops and implements tactical operational plans that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for multiple business domains (business vertical, geography, function)
  • Set annual goals for team and executes; goals are major driver of BU / COE unit deliverables.
  • Resource assignment delegated to managers, has processes to ensure the right resources are getting assigned to highest priority; able to get resources if required (prioritization, business case)
  • Strategically manage deliverables required from key functional units. Produces annual roadmaps with partners.
  • Able to lead and manage team across multiple domains.
  • Drive key strategy for team, team strategy informs Inspire Brands strategic direction (Growth Playbook)

    • Education / Work Experience

  • MINIMUM requirement options :

    • Master'sdegree in a STEM fieldwith 4+ years ofrelevant work experience OR

  • PhD in a STEM field with3+ years ofrelevant work experience
  • PREFERRED :

    • Master's degree in aSTEM field with 5+ years ofrelevant work experience . Experience managing multiple individual contributors.

  • Must demonstrate ability tomanage stakeholders, capacityto think strategically, andaptitude to coach, mentor,andmanage highly technicalFTEs.
