Registered Nurses on this unit are skilled in cardiac rhythm recognition, administering cardiac drips, and conducting comprehensive neuro assessments. They work closely with cardiology, neurology, and interventional teams to provide timely, high-quality care.\n\nThis dynamic Med-Surg unit offers additional training opportunities, including NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, and basic arrhythmia recognition, to enhance clinical knowledge and confidence. The RN is responsible for delivering competent nursing care, following the nursing process and professional standards, including ethics, communication, leadership, education, and evidence-based practice. A BSN or MSN is preferred. All direct care RNs must obtain BLS within 90 days of hire; ACLS within 1 year for Critical Care / IMCU; and other certifications as required by the specialty. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is : $30.38 - $55.38.
