Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; some college coursework preferred, or executive administrative office experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of administrative assistant experience, with at least three (3) years in a public education setting preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), calendar management tools, project management software, and district systems such as eFinance, eSchoolPlus, Applicant Tracking System, and Laserfiche.
- Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication, including the ability to draft professional correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage complex schedules, coordinate high-level projects, and facilitate effective communication across departments.
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with district and school personnel, parents, and community stakeholders.
Essential Functions
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Chief Academic Officer / Associate Superintendent, including calendar management, scheduling, and meeting coordination.Draft, edit, and prepare professional correspondence, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including the Texas Education Agency, campus leaders, and Board members.Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Curriculum & Instruction and Accountability policies, procedures, and best practices.Utilize advanced Excel skills to manage and analyze data, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data visualization tools.Monitor and reconcile departmental budgets, staffing allocations, and expenditures.Oversee ID badging coordination to ensure timely access for department staff.Coordinate and manage high-priority projects, including preparation for school board meetings and strategic initiatives.Prepare and submit Board agenda items in accordance with district guidelines.Process public information requests accurately and in a timely manner.Assist in planning and executing district-wide and departmental events.Maintain confidential employee records and ensure compliance with data privacy standards.Manage inventory, budget allocations, and procurement processes.Maintain effective working relationships with district and campus staff, parents, and the general public.Handle sensitive information with discretion and uphold a high standard of confidentiality.Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Academic Officer / Associate Superintendent.Terms Of Employment

Salary / Paygrade
$53,260 – CP9
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year
