Cath Lab Technologist - (Cath Lab Tech)

As a Travel Cath Lab Tech, you will perform a variety of cardiac catheterization procedures, including electrophysiology and peripheral vascular interventions. Your responsibilities include operating X-ray equipment, assisting physicians during procedures, acting as a surgical scrub assistant, and preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients. You will work under the supervision of a physician and play a key role in patient care throughout the cardiac catheterization process. A typical day involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate documentation of procedures and patient responses.

To qualify for this role, you should have experience in cardiac catheterization procedures, proficiency with X-ray equipment, and the ability to assist in both routine and complex interventions. Licensure and certifications relevant to Cath Lab Tech roles in Florida are required. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and up-to-date vaccinations are also important. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are highly recommended.
