Job Description :

We are seeking a Finishing Machine Operator (2nd / 3rd Shift) to join our team! You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control.

2nd shift : 3p-11p, Mon-Fri

3rd shift : 11p-7a, Sun-Thur

Responsibilities :

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion
• Load and unload equipment and materials
• Provide innovative solutions to improve plant efficiency
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on the plant
• Log and record readings for equipment and procedures
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment at all times.
• Set-up and operate rotary die cutter in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Mount paper rolls and take away completed product.
• Follows quality standards, maintains close tolerances, performs quality checks and enters Quality non-conformances into system.
• Maintains operating and malfunction / downtime log and required production documentation
• Sets-up and operates other equipment when required
• Performs routine maintenance and clean up.
• Trains helpers and new employees as required.
• Assists with examining product when needed
• Performs other duties as assigned.
