As a Production Supervisor at MacLean-Fogg, you’ll play a key role in overseeing day-to-day production activities to ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are met. You’ll coordinate work, assign tasks, and monitor performance across your assigned area or shift. This is an ideal opportunity for someone experienced in manufacturing operations who is ready to guide a team and ensure efficient production flow.

  • 2nd (3 PM - 11 PM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise production team members, ensuring safe and efficient operation of machinery, assembly of products, quality checks, and packaging
  • Assign work tasks, monitor output, and ensure production goals for quantity and quality are met
  • Coordinate work across shifts and departments to maintain smooth production flow
  • Identify equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance or engineering teams to address repairs or preventive maintenance
  • Monitor inventory levels in your area to ensure materials are available for production without causing delays
  • Collaborate with production planning and materials teams to align staffing and supplies with schedules
  • Support quality control checks and work with quality assurance to ensure product standards are met
  • Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment by enforcing 5S practices
  • Complete shift reports, inventory logs, safety checks, and other production documentation accurately and on time
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to support operational efficiency
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • Problem-solving abilities to identify and address production issues
  • Basic data assessment to spot trends or bottlenecks and apply solutions
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence

    • Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Experience : Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or coordination role

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
  • Required to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to push / pull objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent bending and stooping required.
  • Must have the dexterity to handle small objects.
  • Must be able to work in noisy environments.
