Product Owner | $ 56 - $ 6 7 per hour | Hybrid Contract

  • Schedule : Flexible Hybrid (50% per week in-office after 100% onsite training)

Job Description

A growing technology delivery team is seeking a Product Owner to drive cross-functional coordination and delivery of platform initiatives. In this role, you'll bridge business and technical teams, manage backlogs, and define priorities that align with user needs and business goals.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog to support continuous delivery of features and improvements
  • Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders and delivery teams to clarify requirements and set clear expectations
  • Collaborate with BAs and QAs on the creation of user stories, acceptance criteria, and test plans
  • Schedule and coordinate product releases and sprint planning activities
  • Analyze user feedback and data to refine product direction and roadmap

    • Qualifications and Requirements :

    Required :

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years in roles such as Product Owner, Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Scrum Master
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and the software development lifecycle
  • Experience using tools like Jira, Rally, or Azure DevOps
  • Proven ability to manage priorities, communicate effectively, and translate business needs into deliverables

    • Preferred :

  • Experience in continuous delivery and integration environments
  • Familiarity with the insurance or financial services industry
  • Background in business analysis or project management
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
  • Ability to write and decompose user stories and test cases

    The Pay Rate range for this position is $56 - $67 per hour, excluding benefits. Your final Pay Rate will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note that hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
