We are seeking a Physiatry (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) physician to provide locum tenens coverage in a hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation unit in Indiana. This assignment offers an excellent opportunity to practice in a supportive and collaborative environment with a well-rounded team of healthcare professionals.

Position Details :

  • Location : Near Crane, Indiana.
  • Dates : December 24, 2024 (7 : 00 AM) - January 3, 2025 (7 : 00 AM).
  • Coverage Type : Inpatient rehabilitation unit, including admissions, discharges, care planning, and daily rounds.
  • Daily Patient Volume : Approximately 10-12 patients.
  • Schedule :

Daytime rounding on-site.

  • 24-hour call coverage throughout the assignment.
  • Weekend call and rounding as part of the assignment.
  • Medication Management : Physicians will handle their own medication management.
  • EMR System : Meditech.
  • Support Team : Includes experienced RNs and patient care technicians.

    • Requirements :

  • Board Certification / Eligibility : Required in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
  • Experience : Prior experience in inpatient rehabilitation is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Licensing : Active Indiana medical license or the ability to obtain one prior to the start date.
