We are on the lookout for a dynamic and results-driven Deal Desk Manager to join our organization. In this pivotal role, you will focus on structuring profitable and compliant transactions that meet the diverse needs of our internal corporate customers and enhance the productivity of our sales teams. Your key responsibilities include :

  • Collaborating effectively with the NAM Sales team on Enterprise, Sled, and Federal deals.
  • Providing senior leadership with detailed financial models and evaluations of deal economics, commercial terms, and operational requirements to present risk / reward profiles for opportunities.
  • Becoming an expert user of Callidus and Steelbrick quoting tools, ensuring revenue recognition compliance for all quotes.
  • Reviewing and approving all non-standard pricing requests that require executive manager level oversight.
  • Conducting financial analyses for gross margin, revenue compliance, and non-standard terms on strategic deals, including Enterprise Agreements.
  • Pursuing large deal closures by acting as a one-touch resource for field sales and serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to develop effective deal solutions.
  • Collaborating with impacted parties to create necessary documents for deal closure.
  • Ensuring proper approvals for discounts and contractual terms are obtained and documented clearly.
  • Advocating for sales teams while helping internal organizations understand contract requirements, business terms, and risk / opportunity identification.
  • Ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Evaluating current processes and offering recommendations for improvements.
  • Maintaining adherence to internal revenue recognition guidelines.
  • Providing excellent customer service by meeting deadlines through effective communication with cross-functional partners via multiple channels.
  • Understanding GAAP Rules thoroughly.

Your qualifications should include :

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or 10 years of relevant experience or equivalent military experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Finance, Deals Desk or Sales Finance within the High-Tech industry.
  • A proven track record of building strong relationships with internal business units.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working independently.
  • Experience in data analysis, modeling, and financial analysis.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Salesforce.com and MS Excel are highly beneficial.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Compensation for this role will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The expected salary range is between $120,000 and $140,000 per year, excluding additional incentives such as restricted stock units and bonuses.
