Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : 10 / 28 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Job Title : RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Location : Toledo, OH 43606 Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00pm - 07 : 30am) Requirements & Qualifications : Mixed unit PCU, Med Surg Tele and Med Surg travelers will have all levels Position / Specialty : Observation – Observation Unit Ratios : 1 : 4 all shifts Years of experience REQ : 2 years - Must be familiar with intermediate medication gtts (ie : heparin, nitro, cardizem, insulin, etc) Charge Experience Required First-timers accepted : (Y / N) Yes Weekend REQ : Yes – every other Certs REQ : ACLS, BCLS, and NIH Is on-call REQ? (Y / N) What is the req? Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes - Floating within service line, floating between Toledo, Flower, Bay Park, & Wildwood facilities as needed. FLOAT UNITS : Neuro / Stroke, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Trauma, Oncology, General Surg, Uro / Vascular, Observation Open to accommodating block schedule? • Chest pain, Abdominal pain, Atrial Fibrillation, TIA, Anemia / GI Bleed, Dehydration / AKI, Syncope, Vertigo, COPD, Asthma, UTI / Pyelonephritis, Headache / Migraine, CHF, Seizure, Carbon Monoxide Poisoning, Pancreatitis, Cellulitis,
• Post-outpatient surgery complications, etc. - Special Procedures / Unit Details
• Around 2 / 3 of our patients are currently managed under our EDOBS providers located within the department from 7a - 7p and reachable via phone call to the ED from 7p - 7a. fast-paced department with a length of stay goal of 18 - 24 hours.
