Product Manager Telecom
Location : Atlanta, Dallas
A Global Software / Services company utilizing drone technology to provide Data / Analytic solutions to the telecom industry is recruiting a Product Manager.
This role will be critical in building the short and long term product roadmaps, for developing and improving the company's solutions.
The individual will be the primary customer connection to understand their needs and requirements, as well as ensuring successful introduction and integration into customers' eco-systems.
They will work with both the R&D team providing detailed specifications and the Sales team in supporting their sales efforts.
The ideal individual will have a strong telecom infrastructure background and data / geospatial technology experience.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with strategic customers
- Conduct regular interviews, site visits, workshops
- Create and maintain customer focus short and long term roadmaps
- Translate customer needs and workflows into clear product requirements
- Prioritize features and initiatives to be developed, based on customer impact
- Understand development to business value, technical feasibility and strategic fit
- Own product introduction, integration planning and delivery
- Measure and report on adoption, customer satisfaction and impact of delivered features
Requirements
Minimum 3+ years of software development experience is required4+ years of product management or technical account experienceFamiliarity with telecommunications, drones, Digital Twins, geospatial softwareProven track record of working directly with strategic customersExperience introducing / integrating solutions into Telecom / Mobile Network OperatorsExperience translating customer / business needs into technical product requirementsAble to synthesize qualitative / quantitative feedback into prioritized strategiesExperience in startups or fast-paced product environmentsWillingness to travel domestically and internationally
