Overview

Engineering Leadership Development Program - Mechanical Engineer (Various Locations) at L3Harris Technologies. This is a 3-year rotational program designed to accelerate the development of qualified engineers by exposing them to different program types, business units, geographic locations and elements of the design life cycle. Participants are paired with a mentor and have access to education assistance, robust training, and cross-functional engagement to accelerate career growth.

Job Location : Various Locations (Rotational)

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering support for both new product development activities as well as factory support of existing products
• Translate product requirements into a mechanical specification and test plan to be used for development
• Execute verification testing as defined by the mechanical specification and test plan
• Conduct design analysis and testing, both structural and thermal, to prove design will meet customer requirements
• Understand customer needs, generate test procedures and execute the tests
• Generate and / or process engineering change orders (ECOs) as required
• Work directly with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary ranges are as follows : in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, the Greater D.C., Denver, or NYC areas : 67,000 MIN - 123,500 MAX; in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont : 58,000 MIN - 108,000 MAX. Final offers vary based on factors including experience and location. Availability of programs and options may vary by hire date, schedule type, and collective bargaining agreements.
