HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Rochester, New York.

Title : Cath Lab Technologist

Location : Rochester, NY

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day Shift, 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 – 17 : 30)

Job Responsibilities :

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including left and right heart catheterizations, PTCA, PCI, cardiac stent placements, and closure device procedures.
  • Assist physicians during procedures by preparing, operating, and maintaining sterile equipment.
  • Scrub, circulate, and monitor patient responses throughout procedures, maintaining sterile technique at all times.
  • Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias and emergent patient conditions.
  • Set up and operate specialized equipment such as IABP, rotablader atherectomy, and other interventional tools.
  • Ensure accurate documentation within the EPIC charting system.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols within the Cath Lab environment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.

    • Required Skills & Experience :

  • Active New York state license (required prior to start)
  • Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience
  • Certification in ACLS and BLS (required)
  • ARRT(R) or RCIS certification (required)
  • EPIC charting system experience (required)
  • Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including equipment setup and sterile field maintenance
  • Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately in emergent situations
