POSITION PURPOSE :

Performs routine administrative and patient care supportive duties in a medical group practice to assist medical and / or nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients.

SPECIFICATIONS (Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Licensure, Certification, Registration) :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical Assistant certificate, CNA or previous experience required
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with others
• Ability to prioritize patient needs and tasks
• BLS validation
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to lift and assist patients
• Ability to assess patient, perform vital signs and complete appropriate, required documentation
