As an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. Your engaging presence and commitment to outstanding customer service will make a positive difference each day. You will interact with individuals, respond to incidents, and utilize technology such as access control systems and alarm panels. Pay Rate : $21.10 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeFri09 : 00 PM - 05 : 00 AMSat09 : 00 PM - 05 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious persons or activities.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and actions taken during assigned shifts in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Assist visitors, vendors, and contractors by providing information or direction as needed while maintaining site access control procedures.
  • Support site management and law enforcement as required, following established protocols for escalation and communication.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
