Senior Director, FP&A Analytics is a strategic leadership role at Acrisure that drives enterprise-wide financial planning, analytics, and decision‑making across the organization.
Job Summary
The Sr. Director of FP&A Analytics will lead Acrisure’s enterprise FP&A Analytics function. This role is responsible for shaping how the company uses data and analytics to explain business performance, forecast future outcomes, and guide strategic decisions. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical, data‑driven leader with a strong foundation in finance, exceptional modeling skills, and the ability to translate complex results into clear, actionable insights. This person will manage and develop a team of managers and analysts, serving as a key partner to leadership across the organization.
Responsibilities
Lead enterprise FP&A analytics – set the vision, priorities, and roadmap for how FP&A leverages data and analytics to drive decision‑making across the organization.
Support enterprise forecasting and own reporting frameworks – ensure timely, accurate, and insight‑rich forecasts, dashboards, and management packs.
Advance driver‑based financial modeling – embed analytical rigor into forecasting models; expand scenario and sensitivity analysis capabilities.
Partner with enterprise Data & Technology teams – co‑own the financial and operating metrics catalog, ensure consistent KPI definitions and data governance, and build an integrated finance data layer.
Deliver variance analyses that explain the "why" and provide a path forward – attribute financial outcomes to operational drivers.
Support strategic initiatives – provide performance tracking measures and KPIs.
Build and manage a high‑performing team – lead, mentor, and scale a group of FP&A managers and analysts that provide data‑driven support across the enterprise.
Influence Executive Leadership and the Board – prepare and deliver presentations that distill complex analytics into clear, actionable recommendations.
Champion automation and self‑service capabilities – drive adoption of BI and reporting tools to reduce manual effort and improve the timing of insight‑to‑action.
Embed a culture of data‑driven decision making – position FP&A as a trusted advisor and ensure financial and operational insights are integrated into daily business choices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related quantitative field.
15+ years of progressive and demonstrable Finance and Analytics experience; at least 5 years in people management.
Strong financial modeling skills – advanced Excel plus experience with planning platforms (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, Oracle EPM).
Experience with BI / analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and comfort working with large datasets.
Strong partnership with data and technology teams; familiarity with data governance, data warehouses, and semantic layers.
Proven track record of developing talent and building high‑performing analytical teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to explain complex concepts in clear, executive‑ready language and graphics.
Highly responsible and accountable; takes ownership of projects from start to finish.
Track record of driving process improvement and automation.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or Master of Science degree.
Experience in SQL, Python, or other programming languages.
Experience in insurance, financial services, or a multi‑entity environment.

Compensation
The base compensation range for this position is $187,000 - $337,500. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
