Security Professional - Access Control Patrols

As a Security Professional - Access Control Patrols in Cumming, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials. Your presence and attention to detail contribute to a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service, all while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. Pay Rate : $16.40 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sat 06 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sun 06 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and directing them as needed while following site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activity, or hazards observed during patrols or while monitoring access points.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support emergency response activities as appropriate.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
