• Minimum of 2 years required, will consider 1.5 years if all other skills are met.
• Level I trauma experience required.

Active state nursing license required.

BCLS by AHA

PALS

TNCC

ENPC

NIH

Must-Have :

Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias experience.

EPIC charting experience.

Description :

Traveler must be willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays.

Unit will allow one holiday off.

Cannot request both the eve / day after and day of holiday; must choose one day.

High patient ratios of 1 : 5-6, which could be up to 8 depending on patient influx.

Traveler must have Level I trauma experience.

Traveler must agree to work 3 weekends (Friday to Sunday) per 4-week schedule.

Traveler acknowledgment of high ratios is required.

Modules are non-billable and should be accounted for outside of regular hours.

Unit accepts first-time travelers.

Triage experience preferred but not required.

Experience in continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration is a plus.

Primary patient population includes adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Daily census in the emergency room averages 250 visits.

Staffing ratios can fluctuate between 1 : 4-7 based on the time of day and patient acuity.

All required certifications must be obtained prior to the start of the position.
