Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Full Time
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment.Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.Collaborate with facility staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters and support a positive environment.What We're Looking For :

Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent as required by the clientProof of vaccination as required for hospital settingsAccess control and / or badge experience is preferredA valid Security Professional Guard Card is preferredAbility to lift more than 20 pounds is preferredBe at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed rolesPossess a high school diploma or equivalentSubject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local lawsSubject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by lawLicensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employmentA valid driver's license will be required for driving positions onlyWhy Join Us :
