We’re looking for a Site Director who can balance big-picture leadership with on-the-ground compassion.
Someone who can oversee complex programming, mentor and grow a team, and still laugh with us on a tough day.
This is not your average “sit in the office and push papers” director job.
You’ll be in the mix — with staff, students, parents, state requirements, dashboards, contractors, and the occasional copier jam.
And you’ll be leading a team that is fiercely committed to kids, while making sure our site runs like clockwork.
What You’ll Do (a.k.a.
Your Superpowers) You’ll wear many hats — and look good in all of them :
- 🎓 For Students : Keep class sizes balanced and programming sharp Be a guide for IEPs, intakes, and documentation (we know, the paperwork mountain is real — you’ll help tame it) Oversee safety, BIPs, incident reporting, and physical management when needed Partner with families and the community to make sure every student gets the best shot at success 👩🏫 For Staff : Hire, coach, and develop a powerhouse team (BTs, teachers, BCBAs, SLPs, OTs, PTs, you name it) Spot burnout before it happens — and build systems that prevent it Run PD days that don’t put people to sleep Keep an eye on performance, growth opportunities, and quality metrics Support student teachers, practicum placements, and test prep 🏫 For the Facility : Manage the building (from cleaners to IT) Keep budgets in check and meet profit goals without losing our soul Lead community outreach (open houses, awareness walks, family events) Basically : if something’s broken, outdated, or needs a plan — you’re the person we turn to What We’re Looking For ✅ Licensed Behavior Analyst (or eligible in WA) or a Special Education leader with the credentials and chops to take on this role ✅ Master’s degree (required) ✅ BCBA or BCBA-D (required) ✅ Hands-on experience with severe behaviors and special education programming ✅ Leadership experience — supervising, mentoring, growing a team ✅ Willing and able to physically respond to students when needed (this isn’t a desk-only job) ✅ Current driver’s license, insurance, reliable transportation, and phone Extra Awesome If You Have : 5+ years as a BCBA Familiarity with Central Reach EMR Background in special education leadership A knack for turning chaos into calm Why You’ll Love It Here We don’t just care about our students — we care about our people. 💸 Pay & Growth : $100K starting, up to $125K with census & performance bonuses. 🏥 Benefits : Health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) + match, EAP, PTO. 📈 Extras : Relocation negotiable, conference support, CEUs, discretionary profit sharing, mileage / expenses covered. 👥 Community : Work with a tight-knit staff, university partners, and families who value what we do. 🚫 Not Remote : You’ll be on campus, making things happen.
