CPH is seeking a Lead Environmental Scientist who brings a high level of expertise in diverse environmental disciplines inclusive of wetland delineation, water quality monitoring, and the identification of flora and fauna. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 12 years of professional experience in environmental consulting related fields. We are open to candidates with less experience given alignment with strong areas of focus per position requirements noted below.
A senior-level environmental science professional with expertise across various areas of discipline and a true interest in supporting a role involving office and field work. We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and resolution-focused individual willing to work hard and exercise a long-term commitment to our team and CPH.
One should expect this role to require a diverse environmental science expertise and knowledge while also bringing a strong level of professional business acumen. This role will support specialized areas of research, analysis, compliance, and regulations. Expect a role that is dynamic and not isolated to the office setting as the responsibilities are inclusive of supporting fieldwork in diverse weather and environmental settings.
The Lead Environmental Scientist is responsible for conducting critical research, analyzing, and addressing environmental issues while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This position demands a high level of expertise in various environmental disciplines, including wetland delineation, water quality monitoring, and the identification of flora and fauna. The Environmental Scientist is knowledge with species survey protocols, both qualitative and quantitative monitoring methodologies, and functional assessments.
