Responsibilities Work in a 25-bed Operating Room within a Level 1 Trauma Center at a large teaching hospital Patient population includes trauma and neuro cases with a high volume of ortho and spine procedures; no cardiac or transplant Evening shift schedule with 3x12 hour variable shifts, 10 : 45-23 : 15 Weekend shifts are required and flexibility with scheduling is expected No floating requirements outside the OR No on-call responsibilities Uses Epic EMR (experience preferred) and Pyxis medication system Scrub attire is facility provided Care for high acuity trauma, neuro, ortho, and spine surgical patients in a fast-paced environment First-time travelers are accepted Holiday coverage expectations include working at least one major holiday; preference for those willing to work Christmas Maximum of 6 days of requested time off allowed, not including certain blackout holiday periods Weekend flexibility required; Sunday night is not considered a weekend shift Parking options include on-site or off-site garages with shuttle service for weekdays RTO (time off) cannot be requested during orientation week Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate Requirements Active WA or compact RN license required; compact license applicants must complete WA licensure and additional requirements Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience, with experience in Level 1 Trauma and Neuro cases required Circulating skills are required BLS certification is required COVID-19 vaccination and booster are required with no exceptions Prior employment at the hospital requires 18 months separation before returning as a traveler Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626226.
