Advertised Job Summary :
The School of Music at the University of South Carolina is seeking applicants for Associate Director of Choral Studies. This 9-month, tenure-track position will be at the rank of Assistant Professor.
Responsibilities : Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Choral Methods and undergraduate Conducting; conduct the University Chorus; coordinate secondary choral music education and student teachers; assist with the graduate conducting program; engage in scholarly and / or creative research activities; participate in faculty service activities and committee work. Additional teaching responsibilities as determined by qualifications, preference, and institutional needs.
