Compensation Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2250 - $2310 Key Job Details Location : Salisbury, NC 28144 (North Carolina healthcare jobs) Facility Setting : Combo IR / Cardiology / Vascular / EP Lab (80-90% Interventional Radiology cases) Assignment Type : Travel Rad Tech (locum tenens) Contract Duration : 13 weeks (option to extend up to 20 weeks) Shift : 8-hour days (07 : 30 - 16 : 00), 40 hours / week Call : Weekday call (16 : 00-07 : 30); weekend call (Friday 16 : 00 to Monday 07 : 30, one weekend per month) Weekend Requirement : Every third weekend Orientation : 40 hours (scrubs provided) Patient Population : Adults and geriatrics Qualifications & Certifications Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Rad Tech or Radiologic Technologist, with strong Interventional Radiology (IR) background Active ARRT or RCIS certification required ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association) North Carolina or Compact state license (must be in hand by start date) Skills : Scrub, circulate, telemetry Preferred : EKG lead placement, ARRT Advanced Certification, RCES, RCIS with medical experience Ability to assist with diagnostic and interventional radiology / cardiology procedures Strong teamwork and communication skills Rad Tech Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers during diagnostic and interventional radiology / cardiology procedures Scrub and circulate IR / Cath Lab procedures Maintain sterile field and ensure patient safety throughout procedures Operate specialized medical equipment (GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR / IVUS, Canon / GE Labs, Angio Jet, EKOS, Inari, CSI Atherectomy System, and more) Respond to urgent / emergent procedures (STEMIs, IR cases) with a 30-minute callback time for STEMIs Collaborate with a call team (minimum one RN per team) Follow unit policies for scheduling, call, and holiday coverage (no holiday RTO allowed) Float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed based on census and skill set Apply now to join our healthcare team in Salisbury, North Carolina and advance your career as a Travel CT Rad Tech!
