Overview
Blazer Jobs is seeking a dual-certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) and Certified Orientation & Mobility Specialist (COMS) to serve students throughout the San Francisco Unified School District. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about helping students with visual impairments gain independence, access learning, and build mobility and life skills in both school and community environments.
Compensation
This position offers an hourly rate of $53.90$58.65 , depending on experience and credentials. Blazer Jobs provides weekly pay and transparent compensation.

Job Responsibilities
Provide specialized instruction for students with visual impairments
Conduct functional vision and learning media assessments
Deliver orientation and mobility training in school and community settings
Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families
Integrate assistive technology and adaptive materials to support student access
Requirements
Valid California Education Specialist Credential with a Visually Impaired (VI) authorization
Current ACVREP certification as a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS)
Experience in school-based or itinerant service delivery preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and record-keeping skills
