Northrop Grumman Weapon Systems Division, Missile Products Business Unit is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join its team as the ABL Rocket Center Operating Unit Contract Administration Manager 2, located on-site in Allegany Ballistics Laboratory (ABL), Rocket Center, WV.
Essential Functions
- Provide leadership, support, professional development, and training as needed in all aspects of the contracts discipline
- Build and lead a team of highly motivated and effective contract professionals
- Negotiate all types of United States Government, commercial, and international contractual instruments and agreements
- Collaborate across functions to advise and support competitive and sole source Request for Proposals (RFPs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and Teaming Agreements
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
- Advise the OU and BU on contractual rights and obligations, including risk mitigation
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 10 years of professional Contract Administration related experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience1+ years of management experience and demonstrated ability to lead teams and develop talentAt least 5 years of experience negotiating and administering various contract typesExpert knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and DFAR (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations)Strong proposal development skills, solid negotiation skills, and excellent oral and written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications
2+ years of demonstrated people leadership and / or supervisory / management experienceDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate with and influence othersExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work independently and make independent decisionsSalary Range : $111,700.00 - $167,500.00.
