Job Description

This position is responsible for operating the service desk and creating repair orders for the Inside Shop Manager.

Main Responsibilities

• Create Repair Orders in TMT for all shop locations, to include California, Baytown, Jackson, Timmonsville, Toledo, and Ohio.
• Create Repair Orders for Driver Reports using TMT to be assigned to inside and / or outside shops.
• Input repair order information and close repair orders. Ensure all repair orders comply with applicable FMCSA regulations prior to completion.
• Run weekly reports by location for jobs pending and jobs completed.
• Run weekly technician reports for hours worked. Submit weekly reports to Inside Shop Manager for review and approval. Submit approved reports (timecards) to payroll for processing.
• Process warranty claims with applicable vendors.

The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move 75-100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
