Financial Management Support Specialist
Directly support the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), F / A-18 & EA-18G Fleet Support Team (FST) In-Service Support Center (ISSC) at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island, California. Duties will include :
Providing Business Financial Management (BFM) support by performing various financial functions which include budget recommendations, auditing, forecasting, and analysis support services.
Providing financial and cost management support, performing financial analysis support, providing business strategy and risk assessment support, and assisting in funding document receipting, impacting, and tasking to the FST and various FST sub-team leaders.
Providing strategic and business planning data programming assistance in support of the F / A-18 FST's various existing workload tracking databases. These efforts include basic recurring analyses and reports of task assignment, status, overall priority, and metrics.
Performing analytical and evaluative work requiring a comprehensive knowledge of : (1) theory and principles; (2) financial and management organization, operations, and practices; (3) pertinent statutory or regulatory provisions; and (4) related basic economic, accounting, and legal principles.
Developing and analyzing impacts of budget marks.
Assisting with development of appropriate acquisition documentation regarding financial interest items.
Experience : Financial management experience should include financial analysis of business programs, development of cost estimates, program status reports, and knowledge of DoD Federal Management Regulations (FMR), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), PPBE process and two years of DoN procurement policies and procedures. Navy ERP knowledge is required.
Current Secret clearance is required.
No per diem. Work location at NAS North Island, CA area. Start date is August-September. This position is a temporary job with a minimum of 6 months, but with the possibility to be permanent.
Minimum Experience Requirements : Has three (3) to 10 years of experience in Financial Management and / or Accounting. Minimum Education Requirements : BS or BA degree in a Business, Management or Relevant Technical Discipline. Minimum Physical Requirements : Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods, in an office environment.
Base Salary Range : $45.00-$55.00 / her hour
This base pay range is specific to residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Washington, and any other state that may require such disclosure. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
