This position will require you to be in the Greater Cleveland, OH area We are presently in a hybrid schedule, 2 days on campus and 3 days WFH u00A0 The Digital Content Librarian is responsible for growing and maintaining the TeachingBooks collection by selecting online resources and cataloging them along with their associated bibliographic metadata. u00A0 u00A0 Responsibilities :
- Select and catalog resources about childrenu2019s and young adult literature and creators of such literature in accordance with the TeachingBooks Collection Development Policy and Classification Manual though assigned projects. u00A0
- Catalog bibliographic metadata to comply with the TeachingBooks Classification Manual. u00A0
- Special projects as assigned. u00A0
- Other duties as assigned . u00A0
Requirements : u00A0
Masteru2019s Degree in Library Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. u00A01-3 years of related experience in cataloging or collection development. u00A0Experience selecting or using books for instruction in PK-12 settings (library, school, etc.) u00A0Proficiency in written and spoken English. u00A0Ability to work independently and as part of a team. u00A0Strong knowledge of books, education, and / or the library industry. u00A0Ability to consistently identify and correct subtle details in digital forms and text u00A0Demonstrated ability to complete assigned tasks and objectives , meet timelines, and provide updates. u00A0Ability to work in Microsoft Office.Enough comfort with HTML tou00A0 identify relevant code. u00A0u00A0 Whatu2019s Next : As youu2019ve probably guessed, OverDrive is a place that values individuality and variety.
