Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with strong CVOR scrub and circulating skills for an Operating Room position in a level 1 trauma center.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Cardiac Operating Room (CVOR) of a level 1 trauma center
  • Perform both scrub and circulating duties for cardiac surgical cases
  • Float as needed to Bell OR, Cambridge OR, and Sterile Processing Department (SPD)
  • Weekend shifts are required as part of the rotation
  • On-call coverage is required about one weekend per month
  • Holiday coverage is required
  • Role involves both scrub and circulating responsibilities specializing in cardiac surgery
  • Flexibility to float between various operating rooms and departments as needed
  • Must be able to participate in call and cover holidays per rotation

  • Active KS or compact RN license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum of 2 years CVOR experience in a level 1 trauma center
  • Recent strong scrub experience with cardiac surgeries
  • Recent circulating experience in CVOR
