Position description
The Mechanical Engineering Heat Transfer Lab is looking for two qualified postdoctoral researchers that are self-motivated, creative and enthusiastic to work on experimental measurements and numerical simulations of heat transfer in micro / nanomaterials and their interfaces. The duties of the postdocs will include : (i) conduct experiments and simulations to characterize non-diffusive heat transfer in micro / nanomaterials and their interfaces; (ii) writing papers describing the results of the evaluations and investigations; and (iii) assisting with the oversight of graduate and undergraduate assistants working on these projects.
Qualifications
Basic qualifications : Must have a PhD in thermal science and engineering, or related field, and experience in the thermometry and modeling. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred qualifications : Highly motivated individual who has demonstrated the ability to work independently.
