Certified Medication Aide (CMA) 2p-10p Evenings Full time (XYZ rotation)

New Hope Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation in Cedar Park (northwest of Austin) has a full time opening for CMA. New Hope Manor is seeking qualified nurses to join our heath care team. CMA 2p-10p evenings (XYZ rotation) full time

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Accurately prepare, administer, and observe resident for reaction or side effects and document medications as prescribed.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have completed and passed a state approved Medication Aide Course.
• Have a current medication aide permit from Texas Department of Health
• Be in good standing on Nurse Aide Registry and Nurse Assistant Misconduct Registry.
• Must have current Certified Nurse Assistant Certification in Texas.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents in English.
• Must be capable of performing the Essential Job Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
