We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA), part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft.
These positions are onsite in Fort Worth, TX.
Aerospace Software Safety (across multiple seniority levels)
Bring your experience and ideas and help us develop, manage, and communicate the aircraft software safety methodology for a new military development program working with internal and external customers through identification and analysis of software contributions to potential hazards in design, operation, and maintenance.
Our team is at the forefront of emerging system safety techniques including Model Based Safety Analysis (MBSA) and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Systems safety personnel with strong software backgrounds, software engineers with safety exposure, and software assurance engineers with safety background should apply.
This role will be an integral part of the team, working closely with customers and subcontractors. You’ll be able to hone your technical abilities on significant engineering analyses, all while gaining experience in leadership and communication.

Skills You Bring To this Role;
What you need to be successful :
Bachelor’s degree with a Major in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering. Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience. Related degrees with relevant experience may be considered.
Multiple levels will be considered for this position with a minimum of 2 years' software safety experience required.
Work experience with either military System Safety Programs (MIL-STD-882) or civil System Safety Programs (SAE ARP4761).
Work experience or Strong Familiarity with military software system safety guidance (Joint Services Software System Safety Engineering Handbook, AMCOM Regulation 385-17).
Work experience with either software development (RTCA DO-178) or complex / programmable hardware development (RTCA DO-254).
