Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in South San Francisco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within dynamic tech, media, telecom, and commercial real estate locations. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to those you encounter. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas within the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and / or suspicious activities according to site protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and visitors to address questions, provide directions, and support a positive environment.
  • Adapt to varying working environments and conditions based on the specific needs of the location, including commercial real estate and tech / media / telecom facilities.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
