The Field Service Coordinator leads their team of field technicians providing excellent customer service, maintenance, and repair to our construction equipment. This position has a direct hand in hiring, developing, and training their team of technicians.
Essential Functions
- Oversee and direct a team of Field Technicians, providing leadership and support to optimize their performance and development.
- Efficiently dispatch field technicians to various job sites, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet service demands.
- Assist the Director of Operations in managing service-related tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the operations team.
- Supervise the opening and closing of work orders to ensure accurate tracking and control of each field job, facilitating seamless operations.
- Monitor the training progress of service technicians, scheduling both on-site and off-site training sessions as needed to enhance their skills and compliance with industry standards.
- Ensure that all technicians adhere to established safety policies and procedures. Implement disciplinary actions as necessary, in accordance with Opifex policies, to maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide ongoing knowledge and guidance to field technicians, equipping them with the information needed to perform their duties effectively and resolve customer issues promptly.
- Foster strong customer relationships by ensuring the delivery of high-quality service, addressing concerns proactively, and maintaining open lines of communication.
- Work collaboratively with your manager to meet the service department's performance metrics, striving for continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Complete all necessary administrative duties, including logging service calls, creating purchase orders (POs), and ordering parts, to ensure efficient operations and record-keeping.

Required Education and Experience
