Senior Accountant

We are seeking a senior accountant who thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on role requiring deep analytical skills, high attention to detail, and a strong understanding of GAAP principles. The ideal candidate can operate independently while collaborating cross-functionally to support SafeRide's mission of improving access to care for vulnerable populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly accounting close procedures including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting in accordance with GAAP
• Manage and reconcile monthly customer billing and payments
• Oversee prepaid expense schedules and prepare monthly amortization entries
• Record and reconcile corporate credit card activity
• Support billing process reconciliation between SafeRide's front-end system and vendor payments
• Prepare and maintain detailed balance sheet reconciliations and workpapers
• Assist in annual external financial audits
• Assist in periodic state and health plan audits
• Help maintain accounting policies and internal controls
• Support ad hoc accounting projects and cross-functional initiatives
