Job Summary

Responsible for the analysis, planning, and coordination of technology activities for guest services systems. This role will collaborate with business partners, a mix of internal technology teams, and 3rd party vendors to drive the successful delivery of solutions. This includes enterprise compliance, security, and technical due diligence projects. In addition, the role is responsible for maintaining a well‑groomed product backlog and supporting the Hotel Operations Product organization in clarifying functional requirements and functional design. The candidate performs independent research to proactively identify and analyze future opportunities and emerging solutions to drive improvement.

Salary : $60 - 80 per hour

Work hours : 8am to 5pm

Education : Bachelors

Responsibilities

  • Define and socialize product requirements – document use cases, workflows, and wireframes to support development.
  • Coordinate testing and acceptance of system changes between vendors and MI business partners.
  • Coordinate with support teams for problem resolution.
  • Evaluate product improvements and new technical solutions to align with business objectives.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • 7+ years’ experience in information technology application design or development projects.
  • Demonstrated project leadership and management skills, including leading multi‑functional project teams and 3rd party vendors to deliver concrete actions and results.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills and ability to get into the technical weeds to arrive at a solution.
  • Strong project management skills (PMI certification a plus).
  • Experience with Agile Development methodology and tools (CSPO or CSM certification a plus).
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Undergraduate degree.

    • Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with hospitality industry applications and processes.
  • Experience working with 3rd party vendors and service providers.
  • Familiarity with existing information architecture, application portfolio, and information management methodology.
