Vice President of Transmission

A company is looking for a Vice President of Transmission and Interconnection.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute transmission strategies to support the project portfolio

Oversee interconnection processes across multiple ISOs / RTOs for effective grid connections

Lead the development of power flow models and conduct transmission studies for project feasibility

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Economics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred

10+ years of experience in the power or energy industry focused on transmission planning or interconnection strategy

Expertise with RTO / ISO markets, including interconnection queue management and stakeholder processes

Strong understanding of FERC regulations and market design related to renewable and storage projects

Proficiency in power systems modeling tools such as PSSE, PowerWorld, or similar
