Position Summary The AM Barista–Polisher plays a dual role in delivering exceptional guest experiences :

• preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, and iced tea beverages, while also supporting the dining room team through the cleaning, polishing, and restocking of serviceware.
• This position ensures smooth morning operations, attention to detail, and a polished dining environment that reflects MIKA’s elevated standards.
• Key Responsibilities Prepare and deliver coffee, tea, and iced tea orders promptly and consistently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station throughout service.
• Assist runners with bread service and refills as needed.
• Clean, polish, and restock all silverware, glassware, and china to MIKA standards.
• Restock service stations and ensure they are properly set for upcoming shifts.
• Ensure beverage and service areas meet sanitation, safety, and hygiene guidelines.
• Communicate with FOH team to support seamless service.
• Uphold MIKA’s standards of hospitality, professionalism, and presentation.
• Qualifications Prior barista or restaurant service support experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask and manage both beverage preparation and polishing duties.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and available for early AM shifts.
• Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards.
• Schedule & Availability AM shifts, Monday–Saturday (restaurant closed Sundays).
• Flexibility for additional hours during special events as needed.
