Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee restaurant construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail and restaurant construction, with a focus on big box retail environments. This role involves managing all phases of construction projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage restaurant construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure best pricing and service quality.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare and present project updates and reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in the restaurant or retail construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, procedures, and regulations.
  • Proven experience in bid preparation and contract negotiation.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage teams and interact with clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
