Database Administrator

A company is looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) to support the backend of a secure VA system for Veterans' health information.

Key Responsibilities

Manage cloud-hosted databases and support data integrations with external systems

Ensure smooth operation of backend processes in a high-security environment

Perform backups, performance monitoring, and manage data in production systems

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a backend or infrastructure role with databases

Solid SQL and basic scripting experience (e.g., Python or Bash)

Experience working in an AWS environment, preferably with LiquidBase

Familiarity with APIs, data flows, and backend integrations (REST, SOAP, HL7)

Bachelor's degree
