General Description :
The Project / Process Engineer I – Special Projects is responsible for providing technical support to the rubber and composite product manufacturing area. This position will focus on providing process engineering services on programs with established manufacturing procedures. On a daily basis, the engineer may interact with all levels of the organization, customers and suppliers. Good interpersonal communication and group interaction skills along with a hands-on style are essential. Travel of 2 weeks per year minimum may be required. This is a salaried exempt position reporting to the Engineering Manager.

Specific Tasks and Focus Areas :
Review customer contracts and technical documents
Ensure customer has adequately defined and documented the technical requirements
Ensure customer requirements are conveyed and incorporate customer changes into an existing internal technical document package
Maintain REDAR’s technical document package
Create Statements of Work for engineering jobs / projects and oversee and report on effort
Participate in review of non-conforming product and material as required
Quoting support and development of Statements of Work as required
