We are seeking an energetic, compassionate person to support a friendly and outgoing young woman with an intellectual disability as she works toward greater independence. Hours are Tuesdays and Wednesdays 2 : 30 6 : 30 pm, Thursdays 2 : 30 7 : 30 pm, every other Saturday 10 : 30 am 2 : 30 pm (flexible). $25 per hour and Mileage reimbursement

Responsibilities include :

  • Supporting her in making safe and healthy choices, including seizure awareness and response
  • Modeling and encouraging socially appropriate interactions in the community
  • Exploring and participating in fun, engaging community activities together
  • Assisting with building confidence and independence with activities of daily life

    • Ideal Candidate :

  • CPR certification (required)
  • Experience with seizure care (required)
  • Positive, patient, and outgoing
  • Enjoys being social and active in the community
  • Reliable and attentive to health and safety needs
  • Creative in finding new activities, opportunities to explore, and ways to encourage learning
