Position : Medical Necessity Writer

Location : Amarillo, TX

Compensation : $23-25 / hour

As a Medical Necessity Writer , youll help ensure patients receive the right level of home health care. Youll review medical records, research clinical data, and write persuasive letters to support care decisionswhether its starting, continuing, or increasing services.

What You'll Do

• Analyze patient medical records, treatment plans, and assessments
• Research journal articles related to covered diagnoses and exposures
• Write clear, concise letters of medical necessity
• Ensure all relevant covered conditions are included
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and team members
• Monitor patient progress and assess care needs
• Think creatively to justify continuation or increase in care
• Submit timely renewal / increase requests with supporting documentation
• Maintain organized records of research, correspondence, and documentation

Base Pay : $23-25 / hour

Mileage Reimbursement

$100 / month cell phone reimbursement
