Project Architect for Luxury Residential
Outstanding design and detailing expertise for an award-winning architecture firm firm | NYC + Katonah
This is a 100% in-person role in either our NYC or Katonah office. Remote or hybrid work is not available for this position.
Compensation range is $80,000 to $120,000.

We are seeking a Project Architect with experience in contemporary, modern luxury residential design – clean lines, unique and minimalist detailing, open floor plans, indoor-outdoor integration, and sustainable luxury materials.

About You
- Outstanding design abilities with passion for crafting exceptional contemporary spaces and forms
- Expertise sourcing and detailing premium and rare materials including natural stone, metals, glass, sustainable woods, fabrics, and bespoke luxury products and finishes
- Experience with luxury hospitality or retail design including boutique hotels, luxury resorts, high-end restaurants, and flagship stores
- Experience working with ultra-high-net-worth clients and white-glove service expectations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with high-profile clients, design teams, and consultants
- Deep commitment to detail and precision in drawings, specifications, and luxury residential construction methodologies
- Cultural sophistication and understanding of luxury lifestyle trends
- Experience with sustainable design certifications (LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Portfolio demonstrating contemporary residential design with emphasis on clean lines, minimalist aesthetics, open floor plans, detailing, and indoor-outdoor integration
Primary Responsibilities
Lead luxury residential projects ranging from $500,000 to $20 million in construction valueManage residential projects including new construction and renovationDevelop design concepts and detailsCreate detailed technical drawings and modelsSpecify premium materials, finishes, and integrated technology systemsWork with design teams and contribute to all phases of project developmentContribute to crafting schematic designs, design development, and construction documentsYour Qualifications
B.Arch and / or M.Arch degree from a school of architecture in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the United StatesMinimum of five (5) years of U.S.-based professional experience in luxury residential architectural designAdvanced proficiency in Rhino and Revit with expertise in 3D modeling and visualizationFluency in English, both written and spokenSalary & Benefits
